Saksild Strand is known as one of the most child-friendly and beautiful swimming beaches in Denmark, where there is also the possibility to play mini golf near the beach. Or explore the area from the water, on a SUP or kayak tour. During the summer season there are several restaurants, farm stores and last but not least an ice cream parlor near the beach. If you like cycling or hiking, there are many good routes and bike paths in the area.

The nearest town is Odder. In this charming town you will find a wide range of specialty stores. To the delight of your children, why not plan a day trip to Legoland and make lots of great memories during your family vacation!
