Copenhagen Admiral Hotel

A wonderful restaurant and international bar. The hotel is in an old listed warehouse that was built back in 1787. It has undergone a complete renovation. Its original architecture, thick bricks and beautiful arches create an unforgettable atmosphere. The past and present merge, creating a real rustic charm. A sea battle was fought outside the hotel's windows in 1801. It was during this battle that Lord Nelson put the telescope to his blind eye to avoid seeing his superior's signal to stop the attack. The hotel is close to Amalienborg Palace and the Amalie Garden. The harbour promenade leading to the Little Mermaid starts right outside the hotel. The new Operan on Holmen is in front of the hotel, and if you want to see one of the performances there, you can take the boat shuttle. In February 2008, Copenhagen's new Royal Danish Playhouse (Skuespilhus) became one of the hotel's neighbours. And Christiansborg Palace, home of the Danish parliament, is only a 10-minute walk from the Admiral Hotel. "Private Wellness" at the top of the hotel with a sauna and a steam room.
