In Søndervig there is a large grocery store, cafes, playgrounds and a small indoor swimming pool. Hvide Sande is a true fishing village and lively in the summer, especially in the harbor. Here you can also do good shopping. There is also a large selection of fish stores. However, you can also fish yourself from the harbor quay.
