Lønborggaard - the perfect setting
Lønborggaard is the perfect setting for a family celebration or corporate arrangements. All rooms have private bathrooms and toilets. This large property with its 15 modern double rooms and one bedroom with 6 sleeping places is ideal for 30 people, but it is also possible to rent it for a total of 40 people. For this purpose, extra beds are prepared in the existing rooms (including 3 sleeping places for children). Two rooms have extra wide doors.

Practical information

• The heating in the house is based on bio-fuel and solar energy and is therefore CO2 neutral.
• Catering and catering from the restaurant, which is located on site, can be ordered before your arrival. Weddings, family celebrations and conferences can also be catered for.
• If there are more than 36 guests, there is an extra charge of DKK 550 per person/week.
• Please note that due to the pool and the size of the house, certain additional costs should be expected.

The area
Lønborggaard enjoys a beautiful Lange in western Jutland not far from Ringkøbing Fjord. With Skjern Enge and the Skjern Å valley nearby, you can explore the area on foot, bike, canoe or even horseback. You can cross the Skjern Å river by means of two majestic suspension bridges or one of the two cable ferries, which are still operated as in the Middle Ages. The nearest town is Lønborg, Skjern is about 10 km from Lønbogaard. Billund's airport is only 55 km away.

History
The history of the farm dates back to the 15th century, when it belonged to the diocese of Ribe under the name of Lønborg Bispegaard (Bishop's Farm). Until 1650 in it was owned by the king. Lønborggaard was an important manor in West Jutland because of its enormous land holdings. Since 1994 the state has been the owner, and a large area belongs to the Skjern Å nature project.
Renovation of the 100-meter wings of the manor was completed in 2007.
Among the main attractions of Lønborggaard is a tropical paradise with a large pool and a children's pool. Here you can really take your mind off the stress of everyday life with games, rest and well-being.
The modernization of the historic buildings has been done so professionally that all bedrooms have a private door to the enormous terrace. From here you have a view of the valley of the river Skjern Å. On this estate you live in the middle of nature, but here you do not have to give up any luxury and modern comfort.
For communal living, the 100 m² lounge with a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window is available.
